Performance at Kyetume

Today the Heroes of Uganda Empowers performed for the town of Kyetume. First, they performed Matsiko John Bosco’s The Bitterness of Revenge, an emotional play that tackles the subjects of HIV and revenge. Then they sang songs of HIV/AIDS awareness and healthy, positive living. Finally, they performed a traditional dance routine of the Buganda culture.

Between each performance Matsiko John Bosco and the counselors of Uganda Empowers asked the audience what they had learned from the performances. The feedback from the audience was positive and even life-changing. Many people of the town of Kyetume signed up for HIV/AIDS screenings.
