Help us Build a Washroom
Update: We have raised $250 of $985 USD to build a washroom like this for our school.
Earlier this year we welcomed Volunteer Theresa Sauter from Germany. For a month, she stayed with us, learning about how we support those affected by HIV/AIDS with our solar energy and arts projects.

Since leaving Uganda, she has continued to touch us. Theresa has rallied her family and friends throughout the year to support our initiatives.
For this Holiday Season, Theresa has shared a beautiful call-to-action, asking friends to consider “giving a piece of their prosperity” to help support Uganda Empowers.
We have now raised $250 USD, and the Uganda Empowers team has decided to allocate this money to finishing a pit toilet (washrooms) for the community school. The entire work is budgeted to cost $985 USD. I am happy that we have $250 so far, because of your input.
These donations have come at the most time of need because the toilet is almost 75% constructed all we need is to make the floor, install the doors, paint the structure, and a few other things. Students need this toilet by school opening day 27th – Jan – 2020 so that they can enjoy a safe and clean washroom.
