Manoni Community Clinic

In March 2021, we shared how Swiss nurse Manon and her sister Rachel were raising funds to build a village clinic at the Kyawagonya Nursery and Primary School.

Manon Empowers: Building a Village Clinic in Kyawagonya

Today, we are happy to report that the clinic is here!

We’ve named the clinic the Manoni Community Clinic in her honor. Manon, a nurse from Switzerland, came to volunteer with Uganda Empowers for four months. With the help from her family and friends, she was able to raise the funds for the physical construction of a clinic.

Now we’re moving onto Phase 2, which is stocking and supplying the clinic. We are looking to raise funds for drugs, supplies, and equipment.

Some of the items that we need are:

  • HIV Testing Kits
  • Stethoscopes
  • Thermometers
  • Gloves
  • Sanitizer
  • Records

From Matsiko Johnbosco:

Thank you, Manon, for coming to volunteer at Uganda Empowers. You came with a heart of service and blessed our community with a clinic. Webale.
